Covenant is not an easy read. White Gold Wielder continues directly the journey from One Tree, but the beginning of the book is reserved for the relationship between Covenant and Linden, even more stressed with Covenant becoming "so powerful that he was powerless". But the return to the Land and fight against Lord Foul is that much more rewarding. Once all the resolutions are set, this becomes a master class of the motivations and values that makes us surpass ourselves.
